The week beginning the 4th of June i will be starting the GM diet! Daily posts to keep everyone updated on my progress and i’ll post an over all review when i’ve finished :D In the mean time, just healthy eating this week.

You will need;
An english tea bag (I use clipper!)
400ml water
A lemon
As many ice cubes as you want!
A juicer
Method
1. Boil the water in a kettle (or on the hob if you don’t have a kettle) and pour over tea bag in a mug.
2. Leave tea to cool. Meanwhile, cut the lemon in half, and cut one thin slice to reserve for decoration (if you want to). Extract the fresh lemon juice using the juicer.
3. When tea is cooled, pour in the lemon juice and add plenty of ice. Mix and Voila!
(Makes one large glass)
Tea contains caffeine which is proven to speed up metabolism, as well as containing no calories! For an extra metabolism boost, use a green tea bag instead of an ordinary tea bag. Lemon is also proven to help shrink your stomach, suppressing appetite and so stopping you from over eating, as well as containing vitamins galore!

You will need;
150g Blueberries
300g Strawberries
150ml Soy Milk
100ml Apple Juice
A blender/food processor
(don’t worry if you have more or less of the ingredients - it should still taste great!)
Method
1. Cut the stalks off the strawberries and wash all of the berries to rid them of any impurities.
2. Tip the berries into the blender and add the soy milk and apple juice.
3. Blend for 2 minutes (the lowest setting is fine) or until you are satisfied that there are no lumps left in the mixture.
4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately!
(Makes roughly 2 glasses)
By using the soy milk, this smoothie is extremely low in fat (if there’s any at all!) and made from all natural ingredients, whilst maintaining a sweet taste due to the apple juice and berries. Soy milk has been proven to help boost metabolism whilst still providing a creamy, frothy texture. Blueberries are rich in antioxidants and apparently help to keep your skin clear. Once more, it tastes amazing and definitely satisfys any hunger pangs!
